It Is Time To Revolt!

“It is time to get tired of it all. It is time to get utterly tired of being afraid of our inner emptiness, of anxiously waiting for good things to happen, of nervously hiding our defects from ourselves and others.” -Vernon Howard

But not against outer conditions or people or finances. Time to take charge of your own life. Forget about all your past, your failures, and that long list of “what if fears.” “The only enemy note well is your wrong way of thinking.” -Vernon Howard.  Once you realize that you have made a mistake in believing the enemy is out there somewhere, you have placed yourself on the Royal Highway. The super highway of finding who you truly are. You’re on a journey, aware of it or not, to find what you are all about. Vernon Howard is a rare person who found another world. He decided to help anyone who can’t believe that what they have experienced up to now is all there is.

It is time to revolt! You pay by giving up—your old ways of thinking, bad habits, and wrong reactions. Yes, get utterly tired, so you won’t keep doing what does not work. What a deal. You hold the keys in your hand right now to put yourself on the Royal Highway. Do it, whatever the cost, so that you can see the price is well worth it. Finding the new is everything. You must first give up the old to find the new. This inner revolt is necessary.

“It is time to get tired of it all. It is time to get utterly tired of being afraid of our inner emptiness, of anxiously waiting for good things to happen, of nervously hiding our defects from ourselves and others.’ Once again, remember…“The only enemy note well is your wrong way of thinking.” -Vernon Howard. A new day dawns for all those who leave the old. Be true to yourself. Your individuality is your sacred space. Never forget this angelic fact.

  1. A very quiet revolt within. Nobody, but you needs to know.

  2. As Vernon Howard says…It was time to REVOLT ! At some point in my life I noticed “suffering” from a different place than believing ‘others’ were causing my suffering. I call this Grace, because I began to see that no matter where I went, or how I got rid of the others who I thought caused me suffering, the old patterns of suffering remained. I became aware that it was not the other (person, place or thing) that was the problem…the only problem was “me”. As Vernon says “ I have to become utterly tired of being afraid of everything, waiting anxiously for good things to happen. With Vernon’s teachings I have found that being “uncomfortable” is a pointer to old mind patterns playing out which need to be seen for what they truly are, mechanical, programmed, habitual, impressions, that serve no purpose other that to keep me in the same old patterns. I never thought that I would be so grateful to experience suffering’, especially as it is now seen as an opportunity, a portal, to allow the ‘higher’ to come in so that an accurate perception beyond suffering can be lived.

    • Right Glenda, When I first found Vernon’s teachings years ago, the speaker (a student of Vernon’s) told everyone to spend a whole day by themselves, stay home, all alone, and do things around their home with no phone calls, so they could pinpoint where the suffering and the problem was. For those students who did this exercise, the real problem stuck out like a sore thumb. I’m my own problem. Being honest is very powerful, and facts can be worked on, while fantasies cannot be worked on because they are delusions.
