OK, This Other Higher World, How Do I Get There?

by | Jul 27, 2025 | Personal Insights

You will never experience this “Other Higher World” through thinking about it. If you try, which you will, you will see endless thought traps where you are sure you are climbing up the spiritual mountain only to wake up some morning back where you started. A full circle.

To not mince words, and to see if I know what I am writing about, it is through Vernon Howard’s spiritual exercises. Only by doing the exercises daily will you discover this “Other World.” What more do you want? If you really do the exercises, they will prove themselves to you, for you, and you will not need one other human being on earth to agree with what you find because you know it from yourself. Rock solid knowing.

“How do I get there? The ‘exercises’ are your ticket to the “Other Higher World.” The exercises will strengthen you through awareness, which is the absence of thinking. You now possess your passport to something else so grand and marvelous that words cannot explain. Your thoughts will absolutely try to discourage you, so you won’t do the exercises. Ignore them and go to work. You don’t need to have the strength or be smart, only a willingness to do the work.

A Right Heart is all that is needed

  1. For the most part, the world will never experience this other world because the many are too busy trying to fix their present world. After 30 or 40 years of repair, one would think that maybe they are going about it all wrong. But, because they refuse (unconsciously) to admit they don’t know what they are doing, they can’t see that everyone else is doing the same thing. So the many stay lost. These higher truths are for a few who can’t lie anymore, and they go on to find real answers. Be one of the few. This other world is 1000 times better, and you won’t miss your former self in the least bit.

    • How’s about how I try to fix my present world by protecting myself from criticism? I noticed that my whole day yesterday was about that. Everything I did was aimed to avoid being criticised. I just didn’t want to see thru my act.

Weirdly when I allowed myself to risk being criticised in really a very small way, it opened up a momentum to see and do more. I started to see other peoples acts too.

Now I know the way upward – do what I don’t want to do, dare to risk criticism. And a tiny baby step is still a step upward! Great news!
