Stay Present!

There is safety in the now. As soon as you leave now, you are in danger of your wild imagination, which creates enemies, separateness, and the idea that you can do something. As soon as an “I” is born from your mind, you are in trouble. Why? Because you have wandered from who you really are. Others who have made the same mistake with leaving presence become your friends and allies. You are not only at the mercy of your imagination but also at the mercy of theirs.

It is so easy to make this mistake because almost everyone on the planet is doing this. It requires so little from the individual; it is the easy way to feel secure. The problem is that unconscious vague uneasiness that is operating under the surface does not feel secure, so nervousness sets in. Other things are born out of this, like greed. One reasons to oneself incorrectly, that if they get more, they will settle that buried uneasiness. Now your life is all about putting the finishing touches on some idea that can never be completed. The idea is only an idea; it is not real.

The story of the prodigal son is about returning to one’s essence, coming home from a lost inner condition to a much nicer place within. Realizing that slopping pigs is not the life sought. A man coming to his senses. Seeing a mistake is the first step in correcting a mistake. Men, like Vernon Howard point out the way, but you must go into action of seeing your own inner mistakes. You will find the relief that changes everything.

  1. Yes. Not many want you to wake up – in fact, unknowingly they do all they can to prevent it. However, if we are working, in the present, in the now, then we use it to work on our own minds.
But we must be aware, awake and present to mine to gold!
Often, it’s only after the fact that it is remembered that we dozed – and then even this is used.
    Nothing goes to waste!
