“Everyone seeks a better life!”
Everyone seeks a better life, whether they are conscious of it or not. All their actions are to bring about this new life that has fewer troubles and more peaceful living. Who doesn’t want to make their life better, easier, and more fulfilling? All wise teachers over time have messaged the exact same thing, that this ‘other life’ is found in this moment. So why is this life unseen by the masses, and why haven’t people found it? Let’s keep it simple: you spend your life either thinking or being present in this very moment. The problem with thinking is it can tell you, and you believe it, that you are already a person who is conscious, aware, and a clear-thinking individual. Happy with their unhappy self-descriptions. When you are truly present you have no problems and no cares. Vernon Howard’s beautiful quote; “Never relax your guard against self-deception” is taken very lightly, but it is a rare quote that will help anyone bring themselves out of their dream states, and back to reality.
“Thinking places your new life in some imagined future!”
“Wrong Thinking” always places your new life in the future, and off you go, pursuing its’ false reward. If you watch yourself carefully with interest, you can watch this process go on and on with your thinking, and developing new future rewards that your thinking makes up. But, here is what you must see to break this silly thinking habit…you never arrive. I going to repeat this, “You never ever arrive.” You never get to rest. Seeing the thinking process in operation inside your mind, exposing those self-deceiver thoughts is what begins to change everything, for you are starting to be healed.
“Become an expert at self-watching”
Making contact with this other world is so very important to your sanity. We live in a nuthouse here on earth and it is 1 million times worse than one thinks. But don’t let that statement put you into fear, there is nothing to fear.
