fascinated by something bazaar that you see out in life or maybe on your TV or computer. You want to catch it at the percise moment it is happening. Maybe it is so crazy and out there that you can’t believe you are seeing what you are seeing. You become captured. If you can catch it when it is happening, stand aside from your reaction; you can watch yourself being pulled, drawn into it much like a deer gets mesmerized by your car’s headlights. You can see how frozen you become by observing the event. This is healthy self-separation; you are taking your life back with your watching, which will help your self-command in everything else in life. You are becoming more healthy and you will know from yourself you are becoming more healthy.

The Reason this truth, a fact is not widely know on planet earth is because only a very few will practice with these exercises that expose things about ourselves that destroy our self-pictures and images. We are the only people who believe in our self-pictures in the first place, and even if our close friends agree with us in their heart of hearts they know we are pretending to be this or that sort of person. Why?, because that is what they are doing- pretending. We trade with our friends so they will get us to believe in their selves. These exercises put light on our mechanical behavior and show us how to learn what not to do.
