Today I will make my aim.
Even if I fail, I will start over and not feel bad about it.
The aim: Before I do or say anything, I will ask myself…… Would God approve?
If this is true and it’s so very important for anyone and everyone to find out if it is …by seeing inside oneself the psychological mistake we are making. And that we have been wrongly taught since birth to allow this to go on unchecked. It is all happening because we have been unaware of this inner faulty process and we didn’t know the harm we were causing ourselves. But now we are getting wise to this inner problem and realize there is another way to live and react to a single daily reaction and further,
to all of life’s events. We can react in a way to keep our command and peace of mind. Yes I will quit being a burden to myself.
All my life I have paid into a bank account of blame that steals my money! I get no return on my investment. I suspect this but I don’t know it because I have not investigated it enough. Today my aim will be not to blame anything or anyone for my unhappiness. I am intimidated by this aim which shows how asleep I am!
Leo, I like what we’ve been hearing lately about confusing negative states. We interrupt and confuse them by inquiring into them.. They are just mechanical. Not us at all. They feel like us because that’s all we’ve ever known up till now. VH gave a great exercise years ago….. “Abrupt interrupt”
So very true Lisa. For a long time I investigated problem states to learn their cause I thereby try to solve them. I came to realize I was doing exactly the wrong thing: I was falling into the trap & allowing darkness to capture & possess me. As you said, those state don’t belong to us. They are foreign invaders. My job is to spot them & then quickly drop them & have nothing to do with them. They have nothing to do with my true nature & they make the false nature seem all the more real.
