The “Higher Light” Experience!

by | Apr 29, 2025 | Personal Insights

Have you ever had a mystical experience where your everyday life was temporarily interrupted, and you saw everything differently? Maybe you didn’t recognize it at all, because it was so new. It could have happened for a few moments, or minutes, or maybe a whole afternoon, etc. You could see that others around you were not seeing what you were experiencing. Then, just as suddenly as that experience appeared, it was back to your old familiar ways. You might even have tried to recreate it, but it became clear that it was gone. But, very importantly, it did leave its mark, because you now saw things differently, and you couldn’t go back to your old thinking; something had changed inside of you.

Fantastic, you have found the path out of your madness and from the world’s madness. This is the right path, and your heart knows it. Vernon Howard calls this, “The Light Experience.” He continues, “If it happened once, it can happen a thousand times.” He is trying to tell us, we are missing out on something we could have. We could be having the new. The unknown, the carefree, the casual, and the nice. I would gladly exchange my repetitive life for a new life. Good, action on your part is required.

This website is dedicated to discovering what I can do personally, as an individual, to have more mystical experiences, because they were so nice and based in reality. Once you taste this other existence, A new inner freedom, you want more. There are thousands of ways to encourage more mystical experiences, and just as many ways to keep your life as it is. Most people don’t realize how they are assaulted every day by wrong, unhelpful ideas. They think that is the best they can do. Here we become conscious of them, and look at them all, so we can see their realness or call their bluffs. Escaping ourselves (muddled thinking) is delightful! “If it happened once, it can happen a thousand times.”

  1. It is so important to your personal happiness to seek what is true and see what is false. Falseness is totally against this action, for it knows the jig is up if you continue to watch.

  2. Here is Thoreau’s take; “What is the use of going right over the old track again?… You must make tracks unto the unknown.”

  3. Whitman also weighs in, “You have not known what you are, you have slumbered upon yourself all your life… Whoever you are! Claim your own.”

  4. Tolstoy weighs in…

“There comes a time when, on one hand, a vague awakening consciousness stirs the soul, the consciousness of higher law…and the suffering a man endures from the contradictions of life, compel him to renounce the social order and adopt the new… And this time has now arrived.”

  5. So let us make it clear about your inward choice:
you can spend your day wandering the hallways of dread and depression and social pressures (in reality, your personal pressure), or you can wander the bright, cheery halls of inspiration and personal insight and casual delights of a free inner spirit. You can’t have both. Repeat, You Can’t Have Both! The choice is between darkness and light. And because you are new each moment at any time you can turn towards the light. Who is holding you back?
