“19. Comfort: Human beings are driven by the desire for comfort. Always remember when you’re dealing with anyone, if you say or do anything that threatens their sense of comfort you’ll have a fight on your hands. Don’t push people psychologically. They’ll resist and push back. Use tact, slow down, take your time and introduce new ideas to them gradually, so they’ll feel at ease with you.”
“24. Environment: Correctly so, people are concerned with the health of our natural environment. However, what could be more important than our psychological/spiritual environment? Yet, few are concerned. There is never a right, healthy time to feel bad. Cheerfulness is a nice, healthy environment. People who spread pollution with their gloomy spirit should be avoided. They will pollute your spirit.”
“33. Questions: Maybe you have already noticed that people will ask questions, but almost never listen to the answers. Why? They are only interested in answers that confirm them and their way of looking at things. If the answer challenges anything about them, the wall goes up instantly. Of course, they will swear they really want to learn and are all ears. They most likely will be able to quote word for word what was said to them, but they never really heard a thing.”
My favorite is :”DO EVERYTHING AS IF IT WERE NOTHING” It is always right to do your best in everything that you do, but the problem is we want to identify and get emotional pleasure or pain out of it. There is so much freedom in Nothing. Dare to be no one.:)
The world relentlessly bombards us with the idea that we need to be somebody special or our life is worthless which is the way it keeps us anxious towards the future. 4 billion people trying to be special to stand out from everyone else makes for a world where stepping on each other to get ahead is seen as normal. Which explains why there is so much conflict and fear towards our fellow man. Dare to not be a part of that and your life starts to finally make sense.
“Rest-Wherever you are” resonates with something deep inside. I don’t have to go along with the craziness I run into daily with people, events and anxious thoughts inside. The whole idea of having your personal ‘NO’ ready to go into silent action and taking a long deep breath and relaxing your worries away is very very nice. We all could use a rest from ourselves.

But the beauty of it is, there’s capability for Attention, Awareness, Alertness, Aliveness that is generated. But, not by us!
“the sweetness and simplicity of essence is not taken seriously by the lower self”.
We need help from an exterior Source.
AWESOME DEPORTMENT comes with less of me.
“Walk on Stilts”…..Everything changes when our view is elevated. For example: I look at an action or thought that passed through me as nothing more than an action or thought that passed through me…. I didn’t create it, need not defend it, or even necessarily believe in it. – just because it appeared in my presence. Rather, it is unobjectively observed from a higher vantage point, analyzed for it’s merit or lack of, with no feeling of attachment by this observer. This allows ‘me’ to move into the next event, uninhibited. Now that would be different!!
If all the people you know were to tell you to feel bad over something you did – it is well within your power to decide not to feel bad. You have always had this power to say NO to all painful states. We choose pain because we are so use to it and believe it is necessary…it is not!
